House System
At TIS, our House System is a vibrant tradition that fosters a strong sense of belonging, teamwork, and healthy competition among students. Each student is assigned to one of five houses—NOVA, LEGACY, PINNACLE, VALOUR, and HARMONY—each of which embodies unique values and aspirations. The House System encourages students to take pride in their house, develop leadership skills, and work together toward shared goals.
Nova
NOVA represents innovation and the drive to shine bright. Students in Nova are inspired to explore new ideas, embrace curiosity, and approach challenges creatively.
Legacy
LEGACY stands for tradition and the pursuit of excellence. This house honours the past while encouraging students to build a strong foundation for the future, exemplifying dedication and resilience.
Pinnacle
PINNACLE symbolizes ambition and the pursuit of the highest standards. Members of Pinnacle strive for greatness, setting and achieving goals that reflect their commitment to continuous improvement.
Valour
VALOUR represents courage and determination. Students in Valour are encouraged to face obstacles head-on with bravery and to stand up for what is right, embodying the spirit of a true leader.
Harmony
HARMONY reflects unity and cooperation. This house promotes kindness, empathy, and respect, inspiring students to foster a balanced and supportive community for all.
Aims and Objectives
- To build vertical and horizontal community within the school
- To align ourselves with the school goals and focus on leadership development through student-led activities and initiatives
- To present opportunities for (physical, mental and social) well-being as stated in one of the Middle School goals
- To provide a platform for the Leadership
Throughout the year, houses participate in a variety of academic, cultural, and athletic competitions, each event bringing out the strengths of each house and reinforcing teamwork and camaraderie. Through our House System, students develop a lasting bond with their peers and learn the value of collaboration, sportsmanship, and pride in their community
